5 tips for a perfect holiday

When I went on holiday for the first time, I was a bit overtaxed with the organisation of my trip. There are many things you have to organise before the departure. I would like to provide you some helpful tips for a perfect holiday.

First of all you have to make sure whether you need a special vaccination for the area or the country you are travelling to. In Africa, for example, you should be vaccinated against Malaria and Hepatitis. Talk to your doctor for more detailed information and do not forget to take along all the medicines you need.

It is also very important to make sure whether your passport is still valid. There are certain regulations for each country. A passport you could use to travel to Munich could be rejected for a flight to England or America. In case of an invalid passport, make sure you have still enough time to order a new one.

Another important thing to think of is money. Some countries have different currencies. It is advisable to change your money in a bank nearby and not abroad, but only if you do not possess a credit card.
If you own pets you should make sure that you have a friend or relatives to take care of them. They should stay at least two days at their new home before your departure, to solve problems which could possibly occur. Many pets can develop an aggressive behaviour during the absence of their owner, which can be caused by fear.

The last and most important thing to think of is that you leave the address and telephone number of the hotel and that you also take along your cell phone. Of course you should enjoy your holiday without a cell phone, but it is advisable to check it for calls or important messages once or twice a week.

There are many other important things you have to consider, but if you stick to those five tips you will be able to enjoy a perfect holiday.
